Republicans Overseas appoints William Peguero Sr. as RO Chairman, Dominican Republic

WASHINGTON, D.C., May 2025 – Republicans Overseas’ Board of Governors has appointed William Peguero Sr. as the Chairman of Republicans Overseas Dominican Republic.
“Congratulations to William Peguero Sr. on his confirmation as the Chairman of Republicans Overseas Dominican Republic,” said Solomon Yue, Vice Chairman and CEO of Republicans Overseas. “Mr. Peguero has built strong relationships with American communities throughout the Caribbean and Latin America, and I look forward to working with him to extend our reach throughout the region.”
Mr. Peguero Sr. founded WMPB Investments in June 2022 and is serving as its President and CEO. His company specializes in hotel branding and operations as well as providing project support to hospitals and medical organizations in business development and investment. He has spent more than a decade supporting investment groups, healthcare firms, insurance companies, and government entities in developing projects across the Caribbean and Latin America. He has worked in or monitored projects in the Dominican Republic, Panama, Jamaica, Curacao, the Bahamas, Aruba, St. Lucia, Anguilla, Mexico, and Ecuador.
Mr. Peguero Sr. is a former Chairman of the Cayman Islands National Investment Council, former President of the Kiwanis Club Grand Cayman, and former Chairman of the Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce Buy Cayman Committee. He has a degree in engineering from the University of Albuquerque.
