Republicans Overseas Congratulates President Trump on the Passage of the Big Beautiful Bill

WASHINGTON, D.C., July 2025 – – Republicans Overseas congratulates President Trump and the Republican members of the House and Senate for passing the financial reconciliation bill known as the ‘Big Beautiful Bill’ or ‘BBB’. The BBB will cut wasteful spending, extend the Trump tax cuts, protect American borders, and drive economic growth.

While the BBB fulfills many of President Trump’s campaign pledges, the ending of double taxation for overseas Americans was not included in this bill. However, the passage of the BBB is expected to maintain and grow GOP majorities in the House and Senate.

“It is unrealistic to expect all of President Trump’s campaign promises to be fulfilled within six months of his taking office or in one reconciliation bill,” said Solomon Yue, Vice Chairman and CEO of Republicans Overseas. “But now, after the passage of the Big Beautiful Bill, which solidifies MAGAnomics, Republicans Overseas can continue our work in Washington, D.C. and pursue both regulatory and legislative solutions to end the double taxation of nine million overseas Americans.”

According to Stephen Miller, White House Deputy Chief of Staff, the BBB will deliver “Complete border security  +  Massive tax cuts  +  Historic welfare reforms  +  Largest-ever net spending cut in one bill.“  This bill is a crucial step in restoring the rule of law, strengthening national security, and promoting economic prosperity for American citizens.
