WASHINGTON, D.C. – President Donald Trump survived an assassination attempt on July 13, 2024, that killed a father protecting his daughter and severely injured two other people. Republicans Overseas offers our sincere condolences to the family of Corey Comperatore, and we pray for the quick healing of the other two innocent victims.

We commend President Trump for his courage, determination, and leadership in the aftermath of the shooting. Republicans Overseas heard the President’s call to ‘fight,’ and we will work hard to get overseas Republicans to vote and deliver victory at the ballot box.

This assassination attempt did not occur in a vacuum. Democrats and their media enablers have accused Republicans in general and President Trump in particular of being enemies of the nation, fascists, Nazis, extremists, and the gravest threats to American democracy.  At a campaign rally in Michigan one day before the assassination attempt, Joe Biden said, “Most importantly, and I mean this from the bottom of my heart, Trump is a threat to this nation.”

Leftist violence towards Republicans has been steadily escalating and includes the attacks on Senator Rand Paul and Congressman Lee Zeldin, the shooting of Congressman Steve Scalise, the attempted assassination of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, and the shooting of President Donald Trump.

Democrats and their media enablers must tone down their rhetoric and stop demonizing their fellow citizens.
