Trump supporters gathered at a bar in the Thai capital Bangkok on the morning of November 4, 2020, to follow the results of the 2020 US presidential election. Republicans Overseas members, several of them joined by their Thai spouses, gathered at the Bourbon Street Restaurant in Bangkok’s Ekkamai Road area. Tony Rodriguez, the chairman of Republicans Overseas Thailand, said about 50,000 Americans live in Thailand. Republican President Donald Trump is facing off against Democratic Party challenger Joe Biden in the election.
