Americans in Luxembourg Focus on High Stakes US Election

Scores of people turned out on a rainy Wednesday night for a debate moderated by the Luxembourg Times on the US presidential election contest and the issues it raises for America, Luxembourg and the world more broadly.


Communications specialist LaTasha Baker of the group Democrats Abroad spoke on behalf of Democratic Party candidate Kamala Harris, while William Abundes of Republicans Overseas spoke for Republican Party candidate Donald Trump. The American Chamber of Commerce in Luxembourg supported the event marked by the speakers’ energetic but mostly respectful dueling.
